(In english, as this might be of interesst for a broader readership.) Well, after my initial failure with ceph, I actually didn’t give up. Seems I deserve the painseeker attribute … Continue reading “ceph, reloaded”
Latest != Greatest
While setting up a private cloud with packstack, it turned out I came too late to the show one more time. Or … too early for the issues ironed out by others. Continue reading “Latest != Greatest”
Private Wolke
Continue reading “VDSL-Outage”
30.000 ft
As I had more and more issues on the old, dated 3.3.1 WordPress installation on my housing box in some German DC, this weekend I finally took the time and upgraded. Both to 3.7.1 and into the clouds … Continue reading “30.000 ft”
Spread the … hmm, load?
Okay. I’m having it. Around 19:00 UTC yesterday, my provider somehow managed to loose connectivity to one of my /24 PIs (Provider Independant networks). So I went and checked the options on Raspberry Pi housing/co-location. Continue reading “Spread the … hmm, load?”
VoIP. Service.
Okay. Ja. Pustekuchen. Continue reading “VoIP. Service.”
Me and the Raspberry. It’s complicated.
Oh well. A few days after I’ve left Berlin for a while, I lost connectivity to my appartment’s equipment. While the DSL modems were still working (and accessible, thanks to their VPN), I totally lost access to everything else. Fortunately, I was able to resurrected it remotely in the end… Continue reading “Me and the Raspberry. It’s complicated.”
