Es ist ja schon schlimm genug, daß »The Phone House« das Motorola Milestone unter der Marke Hyundai präsentiert; das ist in etwa so toll wie die Tatsache, daß das Motorola Droid in Europa als Motorola Milestone heißt …
Aber Schlamm drüber; ich kenne das Nokia N810, welches sowohl eine ausziehbare Tastatur hat sowie ein 800×480 Pixel großes Display. Damit läßt sich schon hinreichend gut surfen und mit der Hardware-Tastatur dann auch tippen – und da ich mit meinem Magic (G2) ziemlich zufrieden bin, bis auf die indiskutable Videoaufnahme (nicht einmal VGA-Auslösung oder VHS-Nivau) und den fehlenden Blitz beim fotoknipsen, wollte ich heute also, am Erstverkaufstag des Exklusiv-Erstverkäufers Telefónica o2 Germany, ein Milestone erwerben. 
Aber offensichtlich habe ich die Rechnung ohne den Anbieter gemacht, denn weder im o2 Shop in Gütersloh noch im Web ist das Motorola Milestone zu erwerben :(
Im o2 Shop (Moltkestraße) sagte man mir sinngemäß, man erwerte eine Milestone-Lieferung so in ein bis zwei Wochen.
Liebe Firma Motorola, ich glaube, Du hast da ein richtig nettes Android-Gerät im Lager – leider war die Wahl Deines exklusiven Premierenpartners mehr ein ziemlicher Griff ins Klo, offenbar hat o2, wie zu befürchten war, gar kein gesteigertes Interesse am Verkauf des Motorola Milestone, hat doch das mit viel Tamm-Tamm angekündigte Palm Pre augenscheinlich längst nicht so eingeschlagen wie erhofft …

Hallo, bin grade durch Google auf deinen Blog gelandet. Hast du deinen Motorola Milestone mittlerweile? Selbst kleinere O2 Shops haben mittlerweile ein Motorola Milestone geliefert bekommen – leider aber auch immer nur 1x… wer zuerst kommt, malt zuerst ;). Oops, sorry, der Tweet, daß ich das Milestone am Samstag in Bielefeld ergattern konnte, ist nicht im Blog gelandet — dachte aber, aus dem Kontext der folgenden Blogeinträge ging das hervor ;) Der Shop in BI hatte angeblich wohl mehrere, der Unterhaltung der Angestellten nach, habe ich das letzte abgezogen …
Anyway, bislang bin ich – bis auf die unvermeidbaren Nörgeleien ;) – zufrieden, Euer Forum kenne ich (wenngleich ich kein Teilnehmer bin; vielleicht kommt das aber noch ;)). Derzeit suche ich eigentlich nur noch eine Möglichkeit, als UID 0 auf das Milestone zu kommen, um z. B. der Screenshot-Applikation zu eines gesetzten s-Bit zu verhelfen; generell als UID-0 alles laufen zu lassen erscheint mir eigentlich nicht zielführend.
