I really took my time pondering whether or not to comment on Quim’s post again, especially since I haven’t much more to add beyond what’s already said or written.
The bad news is: at least for the German online shop of Nokia, there was no way to order the N810 with the gratiously supplied codes until the shop closed for Christmas. As it’s still not possible to use the codes yet, this means that Quim’s announcement did, at least for shop.nokia.de, not come true.
Unfortunately Nokia’s German online shop wasn’t as inventive as other shops in Germany, which claimed to do delivery even on Sunday or at least until 17:45 on Christmas’ Eve if ordered until 2007-12-21 24:00.
Since I’m a little bit fed up checking that damned code several times a day, I’ll finally redirect my focus to other projects. Maybe Nokia will have sorted this mess out by Easter 2008; I won’t hold my breath any longer, though …
